Thames Court is a four story, multi tenanted, CBRE managed building situated on Upper Thames Street in the City, backing onto the River Thames. Due to the location and design of the premises it has a number of unique access challenges that previous suppliers were unable to overcome.
In 2013, we received a message from the building manager who was a client we had worked with some years previous stating that he had some window cleaning issues and would we be interested in going to have a look.
A meeting was arranged with the incumbent facilities company to conduct a site survey, which highlighted the access issues being experienced.
During the walk round we discussed access issues and new, innovative methods to try and resolve the current problems. Both the building manager and the cleaning manager appreciated our forward thinking and problem solving approach.
We were awarded the work on the spot and asked to put a plan of works together with the intention to start cleaning with immediate effect.
Since being appointed we have continued to deliver a high standard of service and even been through a full tender process during this time. The original contract has increased by 40% with the Building Management Team trusting SWC with a number of new tasks.
O&G were the successful cleaning contractor during the tender process and our service novated across to their management upon contract commencement. Our excellent service delivery at Thames Court has lead to us partnering with them on a number of additional contracts with them, working closely with them to supply many of their window cleaning provisions.
